West Brom sign Arsenal’s Serge Gnabry on loan
Gnabry has now made a return to full fitness and to hand the winger regular first team football, Arsenal had made the 20-year old available on loan.
The 20-year-old German successfully underwent a routine medical examination in the West Midlands earlier this week and will wear the number 31 shirt for the Baggies for the next nine months. “I’ve got good impressions and I feel it’s a good environment for me to play and also develop as a player”.
“We’re delighted to add Serge to our options”, Pulis said.
Gnabry has recovered from a serious knee injury which forced him to miss all of last season and he has not played for Arsenal since March 2014.
West Brom manager Tony Pulis has been following Gnabry for some time and will hope that the youngster can make a major contribution to the team this season, now that he is fully fit.
Gnabry certainly has all the credentials to become a top player and his move to West Brom looks set to benefit all the three parties involved.
He joins James McClean, James Chester and Rickie Lambert as new signings at The Hawthorns this summer.
