WI Assembly panel approves bills targeting Planned Parenthood

The University of Missouri and Planned Parenthood have ended their 26-year relationship after state lawmakers started investigating abortions performed at the organization’s clinics.

Planned Parenthood has vehemently denied its clinics are illegally trafficking in aborted baby parts; however, the latest video in the CMP investigative series features the organization’s national director of its Consortium of Abortion Providers, Deb Vanderhei, explaining that some “independent colleagues” do “generate a fair amount of income” from the compensation for aborted babies.

Moreover, Vanessa Russo, compliance programme administrator for Planned Parenthood Keystone in Pennsylvania, said in the video that they defend the practice wholeheartedly.

Later this week, the House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on a bill to defund Planned Parenthood – which receives half a billion dollars of taxpayer funds each and every year. Planned Parenthood hasn’t sued anyone yet, said Brejcha, president and chief counsel of the Thomas More Society, which represents Daleiden and CMP.

The Congressional committees that have launched investigations are assessing the current landscape of the baby organ harvesting industry with a dual aim. So when they are trying to determine their policy on selling baby parts, their first concern involves public relations – and concern that “the headlines would be a disaster” – and not the law or basic medical or moral ethics?
