Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Coming November
The company has advantage of time and space as Sony will not be participating at Gamescom this year. The fact that each game announcement came with an “available on Xbox and Windows 10” tag was impressive, and if their streaming platform can handle the strain of all its users, this link-up will be a victor. The DVR also offers features offered by many cable providers: you can schedule recordings from your mobile devices, either a Windows phone or a iOS or Android device with the Xbox One SmartGlass app. Users in the UK will be able to watch Gamescom at 3 PM and the event will end on the 6 of August. So it makes sense for Microsoft to keep up with offerings of this sort.
