The DVR also offers features offered by many cable providers: you can schedule recordings from your mobile devices, either a Windows phone or a iOS or Android device with the Xbox One SmartGlass app. Users in the UK will be able to watch Gamescom at 3 PM and the event will end on the 6 of August. So it makes sense for Microsoft to keep up with offerings of this sort.

Microsoft’s Mike Ybarra announces DVR functionality for Xbox One.
