Xbox One gets UI overhaul, DVR features in November

Rise of the Tomb Raider will arrive on PC shortly after its Xbox One launch, and it will hit PlayStation 4 about a year later. If you have the Xbox app on Windows 10 you can also stream television to other devices, which can then be downloaded and watched whether you’re online or not.

Microsoft also emphasized their commitment to Windows 10 as a gaming platform.

Seagate, a world leader in storage solutions, has unveiled a new custom 2TB game drive for Xbox, in a strategic relationship with Microsoft. Now, any Xbox One owner can take advantage of their back catalog-or jump in to older games that they may have passed over.

Imaginatively entitled Halo Wars 2, the game was revealed in front of an astonished audience at the GamesCom festival in Germany today. Xbox One users will still need to spring for a separate hard drive that connects to the console via USB to enable the coming DVR option.
