Xbox unveils more of its greatest games lineup in history
Gamescom, which is Europe’s biggest trade fair for interactive games and entertainment, takes place at the Cologne Exhibition Center in Cologne, Germany every August. Accompanying the general release of this feature will be hundreds of games you can play from the older generation console, with the most high profile now being all the Gears of War games.

Microsoft had initially positioned the Xbox One as a broader media device, and this fits right into that original pitch.
In addition to that Microsoft has unveiled a limited edition Halo – themed Xbox one loaded with many games as well as 1 TB of storage.
“With DVR for over-the-air TV, you’ll never miss a minute of your favourite TV shows, movies or sporting events when you want to play a game or need to step out”, said Microsoft.
Xbox is launching Rare Replay this month, kicking off its 2015 games line-up, which the company says is the greatest in its history.
The news comes following PCR’s report back in May, stating that more Xbox games will be coming to PC in the future, as Microsoft focuses on growing its Windows 10 platform.
Cortana, meanwhile, is one of the first features announced to be part of the Windows 10 roll out. Still, Killer Instinct Season 3 and Halo Wars 2 will both come to Windows 10, and Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition is already available in beta form. PS4 has once again been outselling Xbox One in the US, and remains a distant leader on the world stage, but perhaps Microsoft’s recent announcement might give Redmond a much needed boost. Pre-orders for the peripheral are available starting today. The trick to achieving backwards compatibility on a completely different hardware architecture: creating a virtual Xbox 360 that runs on the Xbox One.
