Shah Rukh Khan thanks Mumbai Cricket Association for lifting ban
After an IPL match in which SRK’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat Mumbai Indians, a police complaint was registered against the Bollywood superstar for voluntarily causing hurt and for intimidation.
However, refuting the allegations SRK has said he and his children were “physically manhandled in the name of security” by guards which caused the actor to react in anger.
Khan is one of Bollywood’s biggest stars and highest paid actors, appearing in more than 70 films, television shows and advertisements.
Shah Rukh had been barred from entering the stadium in 2012 for five years after an ugly fracas with a security guard and managing committee members. The proposal for listing of the ban was put forward by MCA president Sharad Pawar and Selhar.

However, after over 3 years it has now been nullified in a Managing Committee meeting, which was held on Sunday.
