David Beckham shows off new eagle tattoo

It was initially uncertain exactly where the inking was on David’s already heavily-tattooed body, though it’s become clear that it’s under his left armpit as pictures of him at the gym in Los Angeles earlier this week show the bird’s wings peeking out from under his vest top.

Man that must have tickled.

David gave fans a close-up view of his latest body art, by debuting a photo on Instagram as he usually does.

It adds to his 40-strong collection, just weeks after he had “Pretty Lady” placed on his collar bone in honour of his daughter Harper. Rumour has it Becks is now after a much bigger role in one of the director’s flicks.

However, the footballer probably realised he may not be able to keep it under wraps for long, hence chose to unveil it on Instagram in all its glory.

He is believed to have about 40 tattoos but that hasn’t stopped David Beckham from making another trip to the tattoo parlour. “Just another… RISE ABOVE @shamrocksocialclub”, he captioned the artsy shot.

David’s latest addition was his third tattoo in a matter of weeks.

The heartthrob previously shared a photo of his “Hey Pretty Lady’ Harper-inspired scroll he had on his neck and thanked his regular artist Mark Mahoney”.

Also in 1999 was when David got his first ever inking – which was his eldest son Brooklyn’s name – on the small of his back. He has his wife Victoria’s name inked across his right hand, her portrait on his left arm, and the Roman numerals for their wedding anniversary on his right wrist.
