Koirala to ask President to start process to elect new PM
Prime Minister aspirant and chairman of Communist Party of Nepal, Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli, said India should respect the sovereignty of the country.
Addressing the parliament on Friday afternoon, he had also stated paving the way to initiate process to form the new government that he will request the resident to begin the process of forming a new government.
“External affairs minister said it is a totally false allegation that India is responsible for the blockade”, foreign office spokesperson Vikas Swarup said.
The Nepal authorities has written to the Indian authorities that it was prepared to present safety to Nepal-sure cargo and freight as soon as they cross the border.
Over 40 people have been killed in Nepal’s southern plain in the last 50 days following unrest by Madhes-based parties, demanding corrections in the provincial model, proportional representation in various state entities and ensuring other civil rights and liberties in the constitution.

Nepal’s parliament will now come up with a new plan for the election of the prime minister within a week, if consensus among the major political parties is achieved.
It shouldn’t be clear within the structure whether or not the prime minister ought to resign or not to pave the best way for the formation of the brand new authorities.
“I had assumed the Prime Minister’s post with a responsibility to promulgate the new constitution from the Constitution Assembly”.
Nepal’s Prime Minister Sushil Koirala will meet President Ram Baran Yadav later in the evening to urge him to start the process. “I see the need for us to become cautious to avert the situation whereby the ongoing agitation would affect our social harmony, country’s capability and worldwide relations”, said the prime minister.
The constitution requires that a new prime minister be elected from the Parliament within seven days of beginning of the first session of the House after commencement of the new charter.
