Markus Feehily sounds off on One Direction split: ‘They probably feel like
Former Westlife star Markus Feehily has spoken about about One Direction’s reported split, saying that Zayn Malik probably left the boyband because there were “problems”.
Louis Walsh, who helped discover One Direction on The X Factor, has claimed that they won’t reunite for “five or six years“.
Westlife took their own hiatus, which Markus assured Directioners, “bought us another four or five years”. Breaking hearts throughout the world, Mullingar lad Niall Horan, 21, & his buddies Harry Types, 21, Louis Tomlinson, 23, & 21-year-old Liam Payne exposed on Sun.in that they’re going their separate ways for at the very least a yr from next March. “There is absolutely no bad blood between them and they are all 100 per cent behind the decision”.
During an appearance on Morning Ireland on RTÉ Radio 1 this morning, Feehily said: “A lot of the time it ends in tears”.
Niall said the band still have “lots” they want to achieve and look forward to releasing their fifth album later this year.
However, they stressed the break is “definitely not a split” and the band will return “at some time in the future”.
Rumours of a 1D split had been mounting since Zayn quit the group and heightened again last month when it was revealed bandmate Louis Tomlinson is set to become a father.
