Victoria loves tequila: David Beckham

Superstar couple David and Victoria Beckham have dethroned Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II according to a new earnings rich list from the London School of Marketing.

The former England football captain, who retired from football in 2013 following spells at Manchester United, Real Madrid, Los Angeles Galaxy and Paris Saint-Germain, is globally recognised as much for his activity away from football as he is on it.

“She loves it (tequila), which is a very new thing”.

Her love of the Mexican spirit comes despite the fact David is the face of scotch whisky brand Haig Club.

“I’ve done a campaign with Kevin Hart and that’s one of the best ones I’ve done, so the kids are excited about things like that”.

The British fashion designer claims her four children, Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, and Cruz, 10, and Harper, four, with husband David Beckham, are always eager to give back and make a difference “however big or small that is”.

“I am very aware that many sportsmen and other celebrities have turned their hand to acting – and failed”.

He added: ‘I have friends that take the mickey out of me for it, and my wife is a last-minute packer and nowhere near as organised as me’.

He said: “I do like a candle, I must admit, which I know is a bit… you know, particular”.
